Living Hope Coronavirus Response
Dear members and friends of Living Hope Evangelical Free Church,
As we all adjust to life during the pandemic, we want everyone to know that Living Hope church is taking precautions to provide a healthy environment, with PPE available, for our worshippers to come to church and feel comfortable. We are very thankful for the recent Supreme Court decisions, and we are officially back indoors, worshipping at our church campus.
These times that we are living in right now are uncertain and unsteady. What a privilege to be able to lean into the strength of God, "Truly he is my rock and my salvation; he is my fortress, I will never be shaken." (Psalm 62:2). There have been many, many times throughout Church history where difficulties have assuaged the human spirit (whether plague, persecution, or war), yet even in the face of adversity, the Church's steady claim is that, "Truly my soul finds rest in God; my salvation comes from him." (Psalm 62:1). We may have concern in the moment, but ultimately we trust in the Lord, the Author and Perfecter of our faith. We also want to be responsible and wise in this season that we are in by honoring our governing leaders, and by honoring each other. We have a beautiful congregation with unique needs and situations, so for the month of January we will be holding our Sunday Service online here on our website.
If you prefer, we will be hosting some of our Sunday services here, on our website, for you to enjoy. Just navigate to this homepage, www.livinghopefreechurch.com, and scroll down until you see the video section. Make sure the audio is turned on on your computer or smart device, and you can click on the video box itself and adjust the actual video volume as well.
In the meantime, Pastor Ron will be reaching out to our members and frequent attendees via phone and text messages. Please feel free to reach out to us with questions or prayer requests. Let's all be mindful to seek the Lord daily in prayer, and present any needs that we have to Him, and to reach out to each other with requests.
Thank you all so much, and God bless you.
Who We Are
We are members of the Body of Christ gathering in Fountain Valley, CA and are affiliated with the Evangelical Free Church of America. We are passionate and committed to following God’s heart and will concerning the mission of his Church to our community and to the world. Our church was established in 1962, and and still desires to follow God’s blueprint of church life for his glory and honor. We welcome anyone to come and worship the Triune God with us no matter what background, race or denomination they are. We are committed to God’s mission abroad because we want to obey the Great Commission [Matt.28:18-20].
Our church is a safe haven for the broken, the lost and the saints to come and be saved, refreshed, renewed, healed and strengthened in the Lord. We see our church as a place where there is worship and prayer going on continually and where the less fortunate in the community have resources and tools to help them in their daily lives. God has already performed countless miracles for our church to still exist and we are anticipating He will do many more.

What We Do
We worship as a church every Sunday morning from 12:30pm to 1:45pm. We also have a Bible study on Thursday nights together with fellowship and prayer from 7pm to 8:45pm. We sometimes go on outreaches to feed the homeless in Santa Ana or do some ministry in Mexico. Some people also go out on short-term missionary trips and we have some people who have been on the mission field for years.
