Movie Night and Potluck
November 23, 2019
Join us for a screening of the movie "Unplanned," along with an intentional time of ministry. We are taking time in our community to process challenging conversations about the issue of abortion. Due to the graphic nature of this content, we ask that those under 17 get permission from their parents to come to this event. Following the movie there will be a conversation about the topic of abortion and time for prayer.
Who We Are
We are members of the Body of Christ gathering in Fountain Valley, CA and are affiliated with the Evangelical Free Church of America. We are passionate and committed to following God’s heart and will concerning the mission of his Church to our community and to the world. Our church was established in 1962, and and still desires to follow God’s blueprint of church life for his glory and honor. We welcome anyone to come and worship the Triune God with us no matter what background, race or denomination they are. We are committed to God’s mission abroad because we want to obey the Great Commission [Matt.28:18-20].
Our church is a safe haven for the broken, the lost and the saints to come and be saved, refreshed, renewed, healed and strengthened in the Lord. We see our church as a place where there is worship and prayer going on continually and where the less fortunate in the community have resources and tools to help them in their daily lives. God has already performed countless miracles for our church to still exist and we are anticipating He will do many more.
What We Do
We worship as a church every Sunday morning from 12:00pm to 1:15pm. We also have a Bible study on Thursday nights together with fellowship and prayer from 7pm to 8:45pm. We sometimes go on outreaches to feed the homeless in Santa Ana or do some ministry in Mexico. Some people also go out on short-term missionary trips and we have some people who have been on the mission field for years.
